The article is very light on what the parents actually did or said to him. I seriously doubt that the fact that they told him to focus on school was the only reason he decided to commit suicide -- usually it takes a bit more than that.

Are you serious? Do you have any idea what the scope of these tests are? Do you understand how many thousands of people are involved in grading that number of exams? Especially now that most include a written essay, the amount of work going into the grading and reporting procedure is astronomical.

Yet another reason these standardized tests are idiotic. I seriously don't understand where all the money you have to pay to take the SAT/ACT/GRE/LSAT/etc. goes to when stuff like this happens.

I really doubt that the Dems would be stupid enough to make Hillary Clinton their choice in 2008. Unless she's up against incredibly poor competition (say even Frist), she doesn't stand much of a chance. Not with the ways that the Republicans have been running campaigns lately, anyway.
